We have submitted the strategic project Centre for Spa Research within the relevant call of the Just Transition Operational Programme!

We are the third project within the region and the first regional project to be submitted for evaluation!

The CLV project activities were designed in response to the needs of spa facilities, spa towns and regional self-governments. During the project's preparatory phase, we devoted considerable effort to identifying the causes of the region's current problems as well as the expectations of stakeholders. For this purpose, a number of specific analyses were carried out, expert teams convened, a questionnaire survey was conducted, and workshops and conferences were organized.

The project's benefits are clearly linked to the transformation priorities defined in the Just Territorial Transition Plan 2021-2030.

The project's results will contribute to an overall increase in the region's economic activity, particularly through its focus on promising fields with high added value. Spa medicine is a pillar of the economy and prosperity of the Karlovy Vary Region and, together with tourism, represents its greatest competitive advantage compared to surrounding regions.

We now face a four-stage evaluation process lasting 120 calendar days, which includes an assessment of both the formal aspects and the economic dimension of the project, as well as its real benefits.
