Field measurements as part of the Spa Research Centre project

Over the past week, we carried out field measurements in Karlovy Vary and Lázně Kynžvart as part of the activities of the Spa Research Centre project. The research team collected data in the real environment of spa locations as a basis for developing the Methodology for the Delineation and Protection of the Therapeutic Spa Landscape.

We focused on measuring radiation levels, noise, the concentration of negatively charged ions in the air, light intensity, and the concentration of volatile organic compounds. This data will help us better understand the characteristics of the spa environment and will contribute to the expert development of the proposed methodology.
