A new issue of the Lázeňství a balneologie journal has been published

We have published a new double issue of the Lázeňství a balneologie journal, which offers current perspectives on the development of Czech spa medicine, research findings and inspiration from abroad. We have newly divided the journal into three thematic sections to make it clearer and better reflect the diversity of the field.

In the first section you will find interviews and articles focused on research and practice – for example, an interview with MUDr. Eduard Bláha on the future of spa medicine, as well as texts on radon therapy, the evaluation of spa landscapes and innovations in spa care.

The second section, Point of View, offers commentaries, opinions and reviews that bring different perspectives on current topics in the field of spa medicine.

The third section, From the World of Spa Medicine, covers the activities of the Institute of Spa and Balneology and news from Czech and foreign spa towns – ranging from technological innovations to cultural and educational projects.

The journal was created as part of the Spa Research Centre project with support from the Just Transition Operational Programme.
