Start of the year marked by technology

At the beginning of 2025, we visited the robotics laboratory of one of our strategic partners in the CLV project – the Faculty of Biomedical Engineering, CTU. The laboratory tour was led by its head, Mgr. Aleš Příhoda, and we saw for ourselves that it is the most comprehensively equipped laboratory of its kind in the Czech Republic.
The laboratory serves not only teaching but also research activities. It is used by students of the Bachelor's programme in Physiotherapy. Data is also collected here for academic theses, and research is conducted in the fields of assistive technologies and biomedical engineering.
During the tour, we had the opportunity to discuss the importance of knowledge and technology transfer with the CLV project's guarantor for this area. The visit was successful in several respects, including in the context of preparations for new joint projects.
