West Bohemian Spas Through the Eyes of a British Journalist

In the first half of June, the Institute of Spa and Balneology welcomed British journalist Arielle Domb, who was preparing an article on the West Bohemian spa triangle for the prestigious London daily The Standard. During her visit, we introduced her to the activities of ILaB, the Spa Research Centre project, and specific examples of how science, spa practice and public health are interconnected.

We discussed the topics we address in our research, as well as the results of studies focused on the effects of traditional spa methods. She was particularly interested in our experience with the use of natural healing resources and the transfer of knowledge into practice.
