On 29 April 2025 we participated in the cross-border meeting of tourist information centres of the EUREGIO EGRENSIS region, which took place in the Chopin House in Mariánské Lázně. The Institute of Spa and Balneology was represented by RNDr. Patricia Hloušková, Ph.D., who gave an expert lecture on "The future of spa medicine: research, objectification and innovation in ILaB".

In our presentation, we presented the connection of traditional spa care with modern approaches such as digitalization, artificial intelligence or telemedicine. We also highlighted the importance of educated staff and infocentre workers, who are a key link between professional content and the public. The presentation also included an introduction to the Spa Research Centre project and its contribution to regional development.

The meeting brought important contacts for future cooperation in the field of spa education and joint promotion of the region as a health tourism destination.

We are pleased with the interest with which our presentation was received and appreciate the space for further joint educational initiatives.
